Maintenance Services
Fire Department

The Maintenance Services Division is responsible for determining specifications for new equipment, coordinating all equipment maintenance and pertinent recordkeeping, and issuing all supplies and equipment to the City's fire stations.

Other responsibilities of Fire Equipment Officer Mike Fonzi and his staff include upkeep of all equipment, which not only encompasses the various fire engines and associated units, but includes all other vehicles, emergency breathing apparatus and protective gear.

Major Shawn Bray is in charge of the Facilities Maintenance Section.  This section is responsible for maintaining the numerous facilities in use by the Department.

The Communications Shop, located adjacent to the Maintenance Shop, is responsible for maintaining all of the City's radio equipment and the early warning siren system. This section also installs and maintains the Mobile Data Terminals for the Fire Department.
