Volunteer and staff educators from the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and City of Oklahoma City's Municipal Fishery will be on hand to assist anglers to hone their fishing skills.
Young anglers learn fishing basics including knot-tying, casting, fish identification, angler etiquette and fishing regulations.
Poles, tackle and bait are provided!
Classes are open to boys and girls 5 to 15 years old. All participants must be accompanied by an adult. No State License or City Permits required during class hours. Fish caught during class will be released.

The "Hooked on Fishing" summer program is a cooperative effort between the City of Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department, OKC Police Athletic League and Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation as part of the "Close to Home" Fishing program.
