(January 3, 2008) - The City will drain the Eastern Basin of the Oklahoma River between the Eastern Avenue Dam and the Paul H. Brum, Jr. Dam beginning January 4 to repair the Canal Zone G stacked stone wall, the Eastern Avenue Dam gate position indicator sensors and to replace riprap on the river embankments at the aerial gas pipeline crossing between I-35 and American Indian Boulevard.
The draining will take seven days and the basin will remain empty for approximately 30 days until the repair work is completed
