(February 13, 2008) - A public meeting will be held on February 19 to provide information to citizens affected by a streetscape project along NW 23rd Street from Villa Avenue to Grand Boulevard. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. at the Northwest Baptist Church, 3030 NW 23rd Street.
Improvements to be discussed include street resurfacing, curb cut repairs, driveway approaches, sidewalks, crosswalks, traffic signals and streetlights.
“This meeting is particularly important to business owners and tenants that frequently travel along NW 23rd Street from Villa Avenue to I-44,” said project manager Chad Harrison.
The streetscape beautification project is being funded through the general obligation bond issue approved by citizens in 2000. For more information call 297-2058.
