Full-scale regional disaster exercise planned; 4/30

 

WHO:

Police, Fire, Public Works, EMS, hospitals, neighborhood associations, animal welfare, disaster relief organizations and volunteer groups

WHAT:

A regional disaster full-scale exercise will take place on Wednesday, April 30.

It is vital that officials from all response disciplines and across the metro work and train together to be prepared for any hazard our community may face.  The exercises are an important part of the multi-layered approach to all-hazards preparation.

The media is invited to cover portions of this exercise from 9 to11 a.m. and can conduct interviews of willing exercise participants.
