(June 9, 2009) - The
Myriad Botanical Gardens is set to entertain families and film-fanatics
alike with its new series of FREE outdoor movies debuting later this month.

Two movies will be screened this summer and one will be presented in
early fall.
“This is an idea we’ve been working on for a very long time,” said Allan
Storjohann, Myriad Gardens manager.
“Thanks to the Myriad Gardens Foundation, we’re now able to make it
happen.”
The three films selected for
this year’s program include:
June 21
“Singin’ In the Rain”
July 19
“Casablanca”
October 11
“The Wizard of Oz”
The films in June and July will begin at 9 p.m.
The October film will begin at 8 p.m.
“Screen on the Green” is hosted by the Myriad Gardens Foundation, which provides capital and educational support to the Gardens through its membership and special fundraising projects. Event sponsors include Sonic-America’s Drive-In and Cox Communications.
“For us, it’s the opportunity to
