Drainage improvements to begin next week near SW 15th and McKinley

(July 24, 2009) - Replacement of a storm water drain will begin early next week in and around SW 15th Street and South McKinley Avenue.  The work includes SW 16th Street, west of South McKinley Avenue.

Local access and through traffic will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion by March 2010.

The cost for this project is $1.3 million. The storm water drainage work is funded through the 2000 General Obligation Bond Authorization.
