Street crews undergo snow and ice removal training

WHO:
Streets Maintenance Division of the Public Works Department

WHAT:
Street crews will practice operating the City snow plows, salt brine sprayers and driving the City’s downtown snow routes.

WHEN:
9 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 3 

WHERE:
The snow plow training will take place at SW 15 and Miller.  

Crews will train using the salt brine sprayer on bridge routes.  The salt brine sprayer is a NEW system that allows crews to pre-treat bridges with saltwater brine before ice forms.
