School patrons, PTA’s, neighborhood groups and the general public are encouraged to participate.
Community meetings begin with the planning phase and continue through final design for each new project.
(Community meetings are held from 6 – 7 PM at the designated school.)
The meetings are hosted by the MAPS for Kids program consultant and the Oklahoma City Metropolitan Area Public Schools Trust (OCMAPS) Project Office. In an effort to gain input from school administrators, teachers, students, parents and community members, four community meetings are being held for each school that will either be rebuilt for fully renovated. The meetings include: Planning and Programming Discussion, Schematic Design Presentations, Preliminary Design Presentations and the Final Design Review.
As planning continues for the MAPS for Kids renovations at schools throughout the Oklahoma City Public Schools District, parents, teachers, staff and the public are encouraged to take part in the process by attending and providing feedback at the community meetings. The following meetings have been arranged to review the educational specifications process as well as provide patrons with information on the design concepts for the respective facility.
