Oklahoma City and its Water Utilities Trust supports the Oklahoma Water Resources Board vote to authorize legal action to decide water rights in Southeast Oklahoma.  This is the first step in a comprehensive process to fairly determine water rights for everyone. More


January 3 - Coalgate to purchase water from Oklahoma City

The Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust approved a five-year raw water service agreement with the City of Coalgate, Okla.  This gives the Coalgate community a second water source while the Natural Resources Conservation Service makes repairs to the Coalgate City Lake dam. More

November 3 - Oklahoma City Water Utility supports judicial solution for water rights

Following a Pre-Trial Conference today in U.S. District Court in Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma City Water Utility Trust is endorsing the State of Oklahoma’s intent to pursue a legal process to determine the water rights of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations, as well as the City of Oklahoma City. More
