Streetcar Construction Continues

 Joe Carter Avenue: August 11 -Sept. 8

  • One lane of Joe Carter is open for northbound traffic.
  • Track installation continues on the corner of Joe Carter and Reno.

Reno Avenue: August 11 - Sept. 6

  • Between Joe Carter and Mickey Mantle, the one westbound lane on Reno will be closed due to the track installation taking place at the corner of Joe Carter and Reno.

Reno Avenue: August 11 - Sept. 1

  • Between the BNSF bridge and Oklahoma, both westbound lanes on Reno will be closed for track installation.
  • The intersection of Reno and Oklahoma will be closed for track installation.

Reno Avenue: August 11 - August 21

  • The northernmost westbound lane of Reno between EK Gaylord and Robinson will be closed for track installation.
  • This portion of Reno will be eastbound traffic only.
  • The intersection of Reno and Robinson will be closed for track installation

Reno Avenue: August 11 - Sept. 22

  • The southbound lanes on Robinson between Reno and the OKC Boulevard will be closed for road demolition and track installation.

Sheridan Avenue: August 11 - Sept. 13

  • The crew has demoed out the stop in front of the Melting Pot so it is ready for forms and concrete.
  • Two-way traffic will be maintained on this portion of Sheridan.

 Sheridan Avenue: August 11 - Sept. 13

  • They have also demoed out the stop in front of the Painted Door so it is also ready for forms and concrete.

Sheridan Avenue: August 11 - August 25

  • The crew has some minor demolition and concrete work left on this block, so it will remain westbound only until the concrete has cured.

Sheridan Avenue: August 11 - Sept. 7

  • Track installation will continue on Sheridan between Hudson and Robinson.
  • Because this portion of track is not in the curb lane on Sheridan, only one westbound lane will be maintained during construction.

Sheridan Avenue: August 18 - October 27

  • Road demolition and track installation will continue on Sheridan between Robinson and EK Gaylord.
  • Two-way traffic will be maintained.

Hudson Avenue: August 11 - August 31

  • The portion of Hudson between SW 3rd Street and SW 7th Street will be fully closed for track installation and drilling OCS foundations.

Hudson Avenue: August 11 - August 25

  • Road demolition and track installation will be conducted on Hudson between SW 3rd Street and Reno while maintaining two-way traffic.

Hudson Avenue: August 11 - August 25

  • Track installation will continue up Hudson between Reno and Sheridan while maintaining two-way traffic.

Robinson Avenue: August 11 - August 125

  • The utility work continues on Robinson Avenue between NW 10th Street and NW 9th Street.
  • This portion of Robinson will have a full closure for the duration of this work.
  • There have been some unforeseen utility issues arise in this area so it is taking longer than expected.

Broadway: August 11 - August 21

  • The west half of the intersection at NW 4th and Broadway will be closed for waterline work.
  • There will be one southbound lane open on Broadway, and the two northbound lanes will remain open.
  • NW 4th Street will be closed at Robinson but will still be accessible for local traffic

Broadway: August 16 - August 30

  • Utility work will continue moving north on Broadway.  The crew will move to the west side to install track drains at NW 4th Street and NW 5th Street and Broadway.
  • Two-way traffic will be maintained.

Cox will continue their work on Harvey Avenue between NW 11th Street and Park Place.  This should be wrapping up by the end of next week.  They will continue to maintain two-way traffic.
