The Board of Appeals- Building Code hears and determines variances from the building code and appeals of decisions and orders of City building inspectors. The seven-member Board is appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council and includes one registered professional engineer, one licensed architect, three Oklahoma City citizens qualified by construction experience to serve on the Board, and two citizens without such experience. When needed, the Board meets the second Wednesday each month at 1:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber.
