The Board of the Park Commission recommends rules, regulation and policies governing public parks, facilities and properties and advises the Council on the acquisition, donation and improvement of public properties used for parks and recreation. The nine-member Board appointed by the Mayor with consent of the Council meets the third Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. at Will Rogers Garden Exhibition Center, 3400 NW 36th Street.
