The School Bond Advisory Board provides oversight and makes recommendations to the Board of Education and Superintendent regarding projects to be funded and completed with the bond proceeds from the 2007 and 2016 Bond Authorization Funds. The Board consists of seven members, three members appointed by the Chairman of the Board of Education of the District with the consent and approval by the Board of Education, and three members appointed by the Mayor with the consent and approval of the City Council, and a Chairperson to be appointed jointly by the Mayor and Chairman of the Board of Education with the consent and approval of the City Council and the Board of Education. The School Bond Advisory Board meets as needed.
