This calendar lists public outdoor events permitted through the City of Oklahoma City. Questions about holding an event on private or public property can be directed to specialevents@okc.gov.
The “Oklahoma City Tree Lighting Festival” is an annual family-friendly event. The event features the tree lighting, roaming characters, face painting, a coffee truck, free samples from Bricktown businesses, pictures with Santa and serves as the official kick-off for Downtown in December. The event will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The street will close at 10 a.m. and will reopen at 10 p.m.
