Booking Your Event

Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis, up to a year in advance. We cannot hold a reservation unless payment is made.

Payment

  • Payment can be made by cash, personal check, cashier's check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card only).
  • Payment is due immediately for any rental regardless of the time frame of the booking.

  • Personal checks cannot be accepted for reservations made less than 14 days before the rental date.

Insurance & Security

Public liability insurance and/or event security may be required for certain special events. Ask our reservation specialists if it is required for your event.

Permits

  • The Parks & Recreation Department will issue a facility rental permit after all fees have been paid. The permit will be mailed or emailed. If the permittee pays in person at our downtown office, we will provide a copy of the permit at purchase.
  •  Permits are issued only for the individual or organization whose name is on the permit. If a transfer is requested, the permittee must request an amendment with the Parks & Recreation Department.
  • The permittee should take a copy of the permit with them to their scheduled event in case there is a conflict.

Emergencies

  • For on-site emergencies requiring police assistance, call 911.
  • For emergencies relating to your rental (facility not cleaned, etc.), call the after-hours hotline at (405) 297-2255.
