South Lakes Park & Event Center

The regional park opened in the fall of 2004 and it is situated on 158 acres of land. The park is located at 4302 SW 119^th St. and includes a mile and a half long walking trail that wraps around a large playground, a lake available for fishing through the “Close to Home” fishing program, covered basketball courts and outdoor soccer fields. 

The South Lakes Event Center is just minutes away from Interstate 44, and provides a secluded, peaceful setting perfect for weddings and birthday parties.

This 3,500-square-foot event center has a maximum capacity of 150 people and comes with 150 plastic folding chairs, 18 round tables that are 60 inches in diameter, two rectangle tables that are 6 feet long and 3 feet wide, and a back patio that provides a beautiful view of the lake.

The Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department can accept payment in the form of cash, money order, and credit cards (Discover, MasterCard, Visa). We also accept corporate checks, but they must be submitted no later than 30 days before the date of the rental period. We can take payment over the phone, by mail, or in person at our downtown office.

Pricing is as follows:

• $60 Per-Hour, Minimum of 3-Hours Required
• $20 Non-Refundable Processing Fee
• $200 Refundable Cleaning & Damage Deposit *^{Deposit can take up to 8 weeks to refund}
