Educational Specifications Pre-K to 12th grade
The Educational Specifications were developed for use in the preparation of design, bidding and construction documents to ensure continuity of educational related systems including classrooms, hallways and spatial relationships for all OCMAPS projects. This is the detailed educational program information for the School District’s Pre-K to 12th grade facilities.
The Educational Specifications serve as the framework for all schools in the MAPS for Kids Program.
I-89 2007 Bond Program
In October 2007, Oklahoma City Public Schools District voters passed a $248 million bond issue that included nearly $109 million for new elementary gymnasiums, additional classrooms and stadium improvements across the district.
To facilitate the design and construction of the projects, the OCMAPS Trust, City of Oklahoma City and School District entered into an Agreement for Project Management Services. The agreement includes the development of a plan outlining the projects to be approved by the OCMAPS Trust and the School Board.
The plan includes the general scope, budget and priority of the projects to be implemented during the 5-year program.
