Total project budget: $116 million
Building the Downtown Arena as a part of the original MAPS was pivotal in attracting major league professional sports to Oklahoma City. MAPS 4 will dedicate $116M to the renovation of Paycom Center, improvements to the practice facility on N Oklahoma Ave., and funding part of the new downtown arena project, approved by voters in December 2023. The goal is to provide transformative improvements that will enable Oklahoma City to continue to attract professional sporting events, as well as top-tier concerts and other entertainment offerings.

- Upgrades to the existing facility at 9600 N. Oklahoma Avenue will be focused on capital investments and building maintenance.
- Improvements to Paycom Center ($35 million)
On August 16, 2022, Oklahoma City Council voted to revise the MAPS 4 Implementation Plan, increasing the projected revenue estimates by $100 million to $1.07 billion.
On Sept. 26, 2023, Oklahoma City Council approved a letter of intent with the OKC Thunder, and residents approved a 72-month penny sales tax on Dec. 12, 2023, to build a new downtown arena. The budget for a new arena includes $70 million from this MAPS 4 project.
