The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced today it is awarding Oklahoma City with $7.1 million in grants to provide housing for people experiencing homelessness. The award is $2.4 million more than last year’s grant.

The City of Oklahoma City has postponed trash and recycling service for Monday, Jan. 22 due to hazardous road conditions. Customers who have regular Monday trash service need to set their carts out on Wednesday, Jan 24. Carts should be at the curb no later than 6 a.m.
