OKC Parks to open Woodson Park Athletic Complex May 17-18
OKC Parks invites the community to the grand opening of the newly constructed Woodson Park Athletic Complex, 3403 S May Ave. The $13-million Athletic Complex, funded through Better Streets, Safer City bond election, includes six lighted softball fields, four lighted soccer/football fields and more.

Work underway to repair retaining wall along portion of Lake Hefner Trail
One-tenth of a mile of Lake Hefner Trail between Hobie Point Road and Portland Avenue, near Stars and Stripes Park, is closed for 90 days so contractors can fix a retaining wall.

OKC Utilities confirms safe drinking water amidst EPA's new regulations on PFAS

Key to Home Partnership houses 21 people, pets living along the Oklahoma River

OKC Animal Welfare urgently seeks homes for hundreds of dogs
Oklahoma City’s Animal Shelter is facing a dire overcrowding challenge. It is housing over 400 dogs, including vulnerable puppies, in immediate need of homes. In response to the overcapacity, the Shelter is waiving all dog adoption fees until the population drops to a manageable level.
