Oklahoma City moves Tuesday trash and recycling service to Saturday, February 4
The City of Oklahoma City is postponing trash and recycling service for Tuesday, January 31 due to road conditions caused by this week’s sleet and ice. Customers who have regular Tuesday trash and recycling service need to set their carts out for collection on Saturday, February 4.

Beginning today, Jan. 23, a portion of Western Avenue between Main and NW 4th Streets is closed for about five months while crews with the Oklahoma City Utilities Department install a new sewer line in the area.

Oklahoma City Municipal Court sessions scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 27 are being rescheduled because state statute does not allow Municipal Court to hear cases when District Court is closed.

Construction underway on Deep Fork Greenway Trail
Work began this month on a 4.3-mile Deep Fork Greenway Trail. The trail will run between the Deep Fork River. It will connect the Katy Trail at NE Grand and I-44 to the North Grand Boulevard Trail at NW Grand and NW 63rd, completing a 24-mile trail system.
