Program Planner | Oklahoma City Comprehensive Planning 

Oklahoma City is currently seeking an experienced Program Planner to manage the Comprehensive Planning section of the City’s Plan Development and Implementation Division (PDI). The division performs a broad array of functions including Comprehensive Planning, Transportation Planning, and Neighborhood and Commercial District Revitalization. 

Interpersonal acumen and planning-related skills, knowledge and experience are essential. This Program Planner position requires an individual who exemplifies the Planning Department’s values of professionalism, integrity, ownership mentality, collaboration and open-mindedness, effective communication, creativity, positivity and passion. 

The PDI Division is responsible for coordinating implementation of the City’s Daniel Burnham Award-winning comprehensive plan, planokc, and the City’s bicycle and pedestrian master plan, bikewalkokc. Program Planning staff supervises Senior and Associate Planners to oversee many initiatives, projects, and programs related to multi-modal transportation infrastructure planning, area planning, housing planning, natural resource preservation and development regulation impacts.
