Commercial districts play an important role in revitalization of urban areas.

For more than 20 years, the City of Oklahoma City has been dedicated to redevelopment and maintenance of several commercial corridors. The Commercial District Revitalization Program (CDRP) helps residents create, market, organize and maintain commercial districts.

Commercial district revitalization provides greater opportunities for local businesses, which keeps more money in the local economy. Vibrant commercial districts offer residents and visitors authentic, local experiences that express Oklahoma City's unique culture. Read more here about the CDRP program.

MURRAH ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT REVOLVING LOAN FUND

The Murrah Economic Development Revolving Loan fund is available to provide financial assistance for eligible small businesses and developers to aid in the recovery of the area damaged physically and economically by the bombing of the A.P. Murrah Federal Building in April 1995. Funds are restricted to the geographic area defined by NW 13th Street on the North, Robert S. Kerr Avenue on the South, Oklahoma Avenue on the East, and Shartel Avenue on the West.

Low interest loans may be available to assist in construction, redevelopment, rehabilitation, adaptive reuse, business relocations and expansions, acquisition of furniture, fixtures, and equipment, working capital and/or eligible soft costs. Grants are not available, and all funds must be repaid. Applications are issued as funds become available and are scored competitively. Fund priorities include job creation, historic preservation, generation of new sales tax revenues, and compliance with The City of Oklahoma City strategic plans. Applications are currently being accepted through July 1, 2022.  Program Guidelines and application forms may be accessed here:
