The Commercial District Revitalization Program (CDRP) provides greater opportunities and assistance for local business districts to create vibrant destinations to shop, work and play locally.
Whether you want to start a new district, lead your existing district to a new level, or simply learn more about the resources for businesses and neighborhoods in an area, we can help. To find out more about each of the Districts in our Program, including the City's Business Improvement Districts (BIDs), click on the interactive map below.
Technical Assistance Training and Support - Coordinated learning sessions, organized training and one-on-one technical assistance for business district staff and volunteers. Annual topics include consumer demographics, board development, fundraising, advertising, non-profit management, city processes and more.
Business Advocacy and Support - Assistance and support for resolving city-related issues involving your district or a business within your district.
Funding (as available) - Financial assistance and/or identification of funding opportunities to increase the social capacity and financial sustainability of commercial districts in partnership with their surrounding neighborhoods.
Business Improvement District Formation and Support - Business districts interested in learning about creating a BID can work with city staff and consultants to explore these possibilities. Many districts choose to form merchants associations, read more here.
