The Oklahoma City Arts Commission was created to advise the City Council on artistic, cultural and aesthetic matters to ensure the City will be attractive and culturally rich.

The Commission is comprised of 15 members, appointed by the Mayor and approved by the City Council. Six members serve at large. The Arts Council of Oklahoma City and the Allied Arts Foundation are each represented by one member. Three members are professional artists, performers and/or architects. Four members represent other arts and cultural organizations.

The Commission meets on the third Monday of every month at 4 p.m. When checking the 2024 meeting calendar, if the meeting is listed as CANCELLED, please further review the calendar in the event a SPECIAL MEETING is scheduled instead.
