Local artists showcase sculptures along Linwood Boulevard as part of Strong Neighborhoods Initiative
As part of the City of Oklahoma City’s Strong Neighborhoods Initiative (SNI), the Metro Park Neighborhood Association selected three local artists for public art in the median along Linwood Boulevard. Metro Park adopted the triangle at North Western Avenue and Linwood Diagonal.

Dedication for Scissortail Park’s “Light as a Feather” Dec. 21

City Council hires OKC’s first Artist-in-Residence
The City Council voted Tuesday to hire Erica Bonavida for the launch of the Artist-in-Residence program, managed by the Planning Department’s Office of Arts and Cultural Affairs. Bonavida, a painter who uses a realistic style, will work for the rest of 2019 from a studio in historic City Hall.
