Oklahoma City is currently seeking an experienced Program Planner to manage the Transportation Planning Program housed in the City’s Plan Development and Implementation Division (PDI). The division performs a broad array of functions including Comprehensive Planning, Transportation Planning, and Neighborhood and Commercial District Revitalization. The Division is responsible for coordinating implementation of the City’s Daniel Burnham Award-winning comprehensive planplanokc, and the City’s bicycle and pedestrian master plan, bikewalkokc

The Transportation Program Planner reports directly to the Division’s Principal Planner and may supervise Senior and Associate Planners.  The position oversees initiatives, projects, and programs related to transportation infrastructure planning for all modes. The City is currently updating bikewalkokc and updating development-related codes. This position will participate in both of these projects while working directly with Public Works on design and implementation of numerous infrastructure projects. The position will also be the Department’s main liaison with the region’s MPO.

The salary range for this position is $66,836.88-$102,103.20.
