City of OKC Holiday Schedule for Memorial Day: May 30, 2016
City of OKC offices will be closed Monday, May 30, 2016, in observance of Memorial Day. Below is a list of services affected by the holiday.
Trash and Recycling
There will be no trash or recycling pickup. Makeup day is Wednesday, June 1.
EMBARK
There will be no EMBARK bus service.
Animal Welfare
The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter will be closed.
Municipal Court
Municipal Court will not be in session, but the pay window is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the year.
Household Hazardous Waste
The Household Hazardous Waste Facility will be closed.
Parks
- Family aquatic centers are open noon to 6 p.m.
- Spraygrounds are open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- City recreation centers, senior centers, gyms and Foster Indoor Pool will be closed.
- Will Rogers Gardens Exhibition Center and Ed Lycan Conservatory will be closed. The outdoor grounds will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Martin Park Nature Center trails will be open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., but the Visitors' Center will be closed.
